Aircraft Tooling, Inc.(ATI) is open for business during the COVID-19 outbreak. Our repair station is following the CDC, Federal, State and County guidelines/recommendations for ensuring both the safety of our employees and to prevent any disruptions in the services we provide to the aviation community.
As many of you are aware Dallas County has ordered residents to shelter in their place of residence as coronavirus cases continue to spread. It is effective as of 11:59 p.m. on Monday, March 23 and will continue through Friday, April 3.
The order can be read by clicking on the following link:
Section 2.B.3 of the order allows essential businesses to continue in-person operations. They are still required to keep six feet of distance among employees and with members of the public, if necessary.
For purposes of this Order, “Essential Businesses” means, among other things, the support of Essential Critical Infrastructure. This includes work necessary for the operations and maintenance of critical infrastructure sectors as identified by the National Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency (CISA), which includes the Transportation Systems Sector.
The Transportation Systems Sector consists of seven key subsectors, or modes, which includes Aviation. The aviation subsector (mode) includes commercial aircraft and a wide variety of support services, such as aircraft repair stations. ATI is an FAA/EASA certificated repair station, which provides critical support to many airlines either directly or through other large repair stations.
